The Back Server has several tasks throughout service. Back Servers will be assigned a team for the shift but are not limited to only one team. All Back Servers must work as a team allowing the Head Servers more time to focus on merchandising. They must possess strong menu knowledge regarding ingredients and presentation as they are the last quality control point between the kitchen and our guest. Additionally may be responsible for performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management.

Servers take the customer's orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments. Servers may perform additional duties, which may include escorting guests to tables, serving customers seated at counters, setting up and clearing tables, or operating a cash register. They also check the identification of patrons to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol.
