The Set-Up Crew of West Hills Country Club is responsible for daily set-up of banquet, member, and golf events including room configuration, place settings, and light maintenance for the clubhouse, outdoor ballroom, pool patio, bridal suite, and restroom facilities. In addition to any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Job Functions:

  • Vacuuming, Dusting, Mopping and Sweeping in absence of Clubhouse Maintenance.
  • Polishing doors and other metal surfaces.
  • Light Maintenance.
  • General cleaning and organization.
  • Moving tables and chairs.
  • Configuring rooms for parties.
  • Setting tables.
  • Light landscaping.
  • Assisting in breakdown of banquet, member, and golf events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Minimum 3 years+ of experience in full-service, fine dining restaurant
  • Must be able to stand and work 8 hour shifts
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment
  • Customer service oriented attitude with strong hospitality skills
  • Able to work flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and continuously

Preferred:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Salary:

  • $16.00 per hour
